Knowledge Dump

Updated: 12 hours ago

The intent of this page is to serve as, the above title may suggest, a Knowledge Dump. It has taken me YEARS to accumulate the skills, techniques, general know-how, and experience to achieve a modicum of success as a shooter.

I have learned so much from so many people, from all kinds of different sources: books, articles, videos, and classes. That said, just about everything you would like to know about shooting can be found for free, somewhere on the internet. My goal is to create a one-stop shop for as much of your practical shooting questions as I can. A repository without paywalls, just free information.

I'll write articles that sum up a given topic as I understand it and try to point you in the direction of folks more knowledgeable and successful than I am. This repository of information will likely evolve as it continues to expand. As it currently sits, there are three categories: Fundamentals, Dry Fire Training, and Live Fire Training.

The Fundamentals category will be articles centered around the three things I think you need to figure out to become good at shooting. They are "What to Do With Your Hands," "What to Do With Your Eyes," and "What to Do With Your Feet." If you can figure these things out you are well on your way to being an excellent shooter.

The Dry Fire Training category will be drills that you can do at home and should be done often to efficiently build your skill set. Most of these drills can also be done live at the range. Finally, the Live Fire Training category will be drills that "have" to be done live in order to get the most out of the drill.

I hope this helps. Have a good one.
